Our most popular metal is our premium North Country Traditional which is a 27 gauge panel with a 50 yr warranty and is ideal for roofing over substrates such as 1x4 purlins over shingles. The heavier 27 gauge panel helps to hide imperfections in the roof underneath and at the same time giving you a longer lasting roof. (Always remember when measuring thickness in gauges with metal roofing, the lower the number, the thicker the metal!) we match the Traditional and Classic panels with a special screw that boasts a warranty equal to the roof panels.

  We also have North Country's Classic panel available with a Quartz finish. The function on this panel is similar to the Traditional panel but the profile has a similar visual to standing seam metal. The benefits of this panel is a more refined visual similar to standing seam but with a much lower price tag then standing seam. The finish on the Classic panel is a beautiful mottled matte finish that gives the roof a bit softer appearance.

With improved installation methods and increasing popularity we are now able to offer standing seam metal at a lower price point than what we were able to in the past.
